I have really been picking up my smoothie game lately, but sometimes I just feel like I want to chew my food or meal instead of drink it. So, the perfect solution for that? A smoothie bowl! Why not.. seriously still delicious, just eat with a bowl and spoon for this one!
1 cups almond milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tablespoons nut butter
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the toppings:
sprinkling of paleo trail mix (I used Eating Evolved's Monkey Munch)
sprinkling of unsweetened coconut flakes
- Blend all ingredients (not toppings) until smooth.
- Pour into bowl and top with toppings.
- Grab a spoon and enjoy!
