I jumped on the blogger bandwagon and decided to post my December must-haves. In other words, a few things that I use A LOT throughout the month of December.
1. Plaid Pjs
These are perfect for when you are traveling over the holidays and staying at other people's homes. They are my go-to pjs for opening gifts on Christmas morning too! I actually got a couple sets from Old Navy - during a sale - so they were only $12 per piece.
Let's be honest though, Starbucks is an all day err day kinda thing for me :) Its just even better to have a warm drink in hand while out running errands and shopping during the chilly holiday season.
3. Neutral Nails
I pretty much stick to neutral colors on my nails throughout the colder months, especially around the holidays. I like to go with Licorice or Glamour Purse from Essie.
Tights are ideal to wear under any holiday or party dress. From different colors, patterns, and textures there is sure to be a few go-to pairs that suit you. I even like to wear tights with some of my summer dresses - add a couple layers/boots/scarf and voila - you have a winter outfit!
5. Gift Wrapping Supplies
Last year was the first year I used plain, brown craft paper to wrap my Christmas gifts, and there is no turning back. I like to use twine or fun ribbon to decorate the wrapping. This year, I also found some cute Christmassy tape to use. I'm trying not to go overboard, but its so hard with all the fun options out there!
6. Printable Gift Tags
This could technically fall under 'gift wrapping supplies' I guess, but I browse Pinterest each Christmas season for new FREE printable gift tags. I just print them out on some thicker paper, cut them out, and stick them on my gifts!
7. Christmas Candles
I love candles any time of year, but there is something special to me about sitting by the Christmas tree with a Christmas candle lit. Bonus if the candle smells like Christmas cookies :)
What are some of your must-have items this time of year?
