Last week, I started out with a couple great workouts, then still had great intentions, but the week had other plans for me.
Monday: arc trainer for 20 mins + ran 3 miles + walked 1.5 miles
Tuesday: walked 2.17 miles + ran 3 miles + 4 sets of 12 reps each of chest fly, chest press, overhead press, and lat pull down + 4 sets of 45 seconds plank
Thursday: circuit training x 3
Saturday: walked 60 minutes
Unfortunately, I let my week (head cold/holidays/unexpected events/any other excuse I can think of) get the best of me and became a huge slacker in the running - or any type of exercise - department. Ever since our vacation over Thanksgiving, I have been taking it TOO easy - starting this week, that is going to change...
On Tuesday, my husband and I will be starting the Hal Higdon Half Marathon Training Program. I am SO ready to begin following a legit regimen again. It was way too easy for me to slack these past few weeks without a real plan to follow. I am excited to get started!
I will leave you with a little motivation from Runner's World:
