Recently, I was sent a HipS-sister to try out. To be honest, I have never seen anything quite like it before. It is not a fanny pack, and not a belt, but more of a mix of the two.
The company, hipS-sister was created based on the concept of wanting something more flattering than the fanny pack.
Sonia Kanner created the company hipS-sister based upon the concept of the dreaded fanny pack. Sonia strived to create an alternative option that is fashionable, functional, and flattering.
There are two zipper pockets - one in the front and one in the back - and another smaller pocket as well, which is a great fit for a cell phone.
When you are exercising, it is a great option to be able to wear the hipS-sister so you have a place to keep your keys, phone, or other belongings. And it looks a lot cooler than a fanny pack :)
To test it out, I wore it for a few walks, short runs and a couple longer runs too. I was actually quite surprised to find out that it didn't move around or bother me at all. I don't think I had to readjust it one time. I was able to carry my phone and keys in the pockets.
It is made to be able to stretch so that it can fit a variety of waist sizes (Made of 15% Spandex and 85% Nylon swimwear fabric). I like wearing mine a little lower while running, and mine is a size A.
To clean my hipS-sister, I simply tossed it in the washing machine and let it air dry. Mine is black, but there are several fun color and style options to choose from.
