I was recently gifted the Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara. Prior to receiving this gift, I had never heard of Younique or fiber lashes mascara. After trying it out for a few weeks, I am so happy I was introduced to this amazing mascara!
There are two parts to the 3D mascara, the transplanting gel and the fibers. Both come in a tube, similar to regular mascara. Both tubes are packaged nicely in a case.
Steps for application:
1) First, apply 1 coat of your regular mascara (any old cheap brand would do, as its just a base).
*some reviews suggest using a coat of regular mascara is not necessary, so I don't always do this*
2) Then, apply 1 coat of the Younique gel (its black and resembles regular mascara).
3) Next, apply 1 coat of the Younique fibers (it looks like pieces of black fluff on a mascara wand).
4) Last, apply another coat of the Younique gel to seal it.
*Some reviewers recommend using an eyelash comb after the initial coat of transplanting gel to separate lashes.*
Although it seems like there are a lot of steps to putting on the 3D mascara, it actually doesn't take too long (once I got the hang of it). I should also mention that I normally would apply 2-3 coats of regular mascara, so I feel the time involved to apply the Younique is about the same for me. If you typically only apply 1 coat of mascara, then when using the Younique, you’ll probably be adding a couple minutes to your regular routine. I don't use the mascara daily, but for special events or when I want the extra fab lash look, I find it worth spending the extra time in order to make my lashes look better!
Note: It is removed easily with soap and water, like regular mascara.
If you are interested in trying, you can buy Younique 3D Fiber Mascara from an independent seller or buy it online.
