To be completely honest, I have had issues finding the perfect way to carry my phone with me on a run so that I can listen to my music. So, I end up rarely listening to music when I run. However, on the longer distance runs, it can get a tad tedious, and I crave my tunes. There are several options out there, but in my opinion, I have found few that fit the bill.
Then the awesome folks at Fitletic sent me their Window Armband to try.
a little bit about Fitletic:
Since we began in 2008, we have worked very hard to keep our mission for innovative, high quality products alive and well for you, our loyal customers. Our line of products has been growing and going strong. My passion for excellence drives me to create the highest quality products in the market and have the most comfortable accessories for all athletes. It is a job that never ends! We have introduced new products and upgraded others to follow the trends (like bigger phones) and stayed ahead of the curve. Our line of products is now used by many happy runners, triathletes, cyclists, and more!
At first glance, I thought the armband was a little bulky, and I was worried it might get in the way or bother me during my workout. From the moment I put my phone in the armband and tightened it around my arm, I loved it.
I wore it for several runs at various distances, on the treadmill and outside. I even wore it on the arc trainer a few times, and it served it's purpose well each time.
My favorite feature about the armband is probably the interior pocket, made to store cash. I can even fit my house or car key in there when I need to.
It also has a True Touch Navigation Window, which makes it easy to access your phone through the window, and making it a breeze to change songs without removing it from the pocket.
