When I am traveling for work, I find it difficult to stay on a workout regiment. This is mostly because of meetings, conferences, early mornings, late dinners, etc. (excuses, I know!)
I was fortunate enough on my last trip to have some extra time to myself for working out, plus I got in a ton of walking as I was sightseeing. I have some more work trips coming up, and this time I am going to be prepared! I love circuit training - and one of the best things about it is you don't always need equipment or even a huge chunk of time. Not to mention, you can perform the exercises in the comfort of your own hotel room, if you prefer.
Here are few exercises put together to make up one short, but great workout!
How do you stick to your workouts when traveling?
I have bought several totes throughout the years that have not lasted very long. That might actually be partly my fault though because I tend to over pack my totes to the max. Usually one of the straps end up tearing. And unfortunately, that is usually in the middle of an airport somewhere.
So, as I started preparing for my trip to Poland and Latvia, I knew I needed a tote that could withstand my packing skills - or lack thereof. In the past, I don't think I ever spent more than $50 on a large tote. So, I came to the realization that if I wanted a quality tote, I was going to have to pay more than I was used to. However, I didn't want anything too high-end, in case it broke again!
After much searching and deliberation I decided on the Nordstrom Packable Tote.
This packable printed tote expands to provide extra storage when you need it.
Color: black ridge
Other color option: red fiesta ridge
Price: $88 - - Now on SALE for $58!
I am happy to report that there have been no strap tears or issues with my new tote. It withheld my international trip just fine! I have actually been using it pretty much on a daily basis to help carry things back and forth between home and my office. As you might guess, this over-packer tends to take a lot with her wherever she goes :)
Anyway, I am very happy with my choice, and if you are in the market for a new tote, I would definitely recommend this one!
I had an amazing week traveling throughout Europe! Even though the trip was for business purposes, I am beyond thankful for the free time I had to explore as well. This post consists of some of my favorite photos from the first leg of my trip in Krakow, Poland.
Krakow is a beautiful city with lots of history and culture. I had a wonderful time!
Next post will be photos from the second leg of my trip in Riga, Latvia.
I might be a little hit or miss with my blogging and social media updates for the next few days, but trust me, it is for a good reason :)
