I was stoked to receive a few of Barbell Babes top selling workout shirts. If you have not heard of Barbell Babes, I suggest you familiarize yourself! For all you babes out there, listen up...
Barbell Babes is a lifestyle brand and online community to help empower women to break boundaries in all types of fitness.
Based out of Washington, DC, Barbell Babes was founded in February 2014 by Tiffany Kay Tam. As a former CrossFitter and new Olympic weightlifter, she searched the internet for role models and realized the lack of celebration for all body types. Overwhelmed by the amount of "booty pics" and six-packs, she created Barbell Babes, a safe space for women of all shapes and sizes. She believes that all women deserve to be celebrated for her accomplishments no matter how far in their fitness journey.
To Tiffany, being a 'Barbell Babe' means to break the norms of society and be proud of who you are. We are all human. Just because you don't look a certain way yet doesn't mean you have to beat yourself up for it.
How amazing?! I love supporting a company that stands for something I can truly relate to. I am all for celebrating women - all women - and so you best believe I will be repping my new Barbell Babes tops with pride!

I have a new found love that I want to tell you all about.
Chin Up Apparel was founded in 2013 in sunny Chico, California. They use high-quality shirts with designs you will love! Their upbeat workout brand keeps you motivated and happy to wear Chin Up in and out of the gym scene.
With their bright colored tanks and fun sayings, you won't be able to buy just one! I was lucky enough to be given the chance to try out one of their tanks, and I could not resist when I saw this one.
Oh My God, Becky, look at this shirt. I wore this tank to the gym and got several comments on it. Everyone loves it. And how could you not? I love adding a little humor to the gym with some funny fitspiration.
I am a huge fan of muscle tanks lately, and that is the style I chose from Chin Up too. Obsessed with the extra long arm holes. I like them because they are like a cut off without having to cut up an old shirt to make one. But don't worry, they have TONS of styles to choose from. So many that I am sure you will find one you like.
Chin Up Apparel was kind enough to offer two lucky readers a tank of their own! All you have to do is enter using the options below. Each entry you do counts as a point, and the winner will be chosen at random. Be sure to go to chinupapparel.com to see which tank you would pick if you win!
Two winners will be announced on Friday -- Good luck!
Keep your Chin Up and workout in style.

When I was offered the chance to do a MealEnders review through my affiliation with SweatPink and FitApproach, I was intrigued, but hesitant. At first look I thought maybe this was some new product claiming to be the next quick fix way to help you lose weight. Then I took a closer look. MealEnders are actually free of stimulants, drugs, and herbs. They instead use both food science and behavioral psychology to help fight the urge to over indulge.
MealEnders signaling lozenges look like hard candy, and you are supposed to simply let them dissolve in your mouth. Each MealEnders signaling lozenge has 15 calories, and is low-fat, stimulant-free, gluten-free, kosher, and contains no high fructose corn syrup or MSG. (You can see the MealEnders nutrition labels here).
DUO-SENSORY TASTE SYSTEM™
MealEnders’ active-taste formula rewards and resets your taste buds, distracting you from the temptation to overindulge. First the delicious Reward Layer treats you to the sweet taste of dessert – a signal we typically associate with the end of a meal. Then the Inner Core’s Active-Taste Layer releases a proprietary blend of gentle, cool tingling sensations on the tongue, which engage the trigeminal nerve, distracting your mind from the urge to continue overeating. You can feel your MealEnder go to work instantly.
ENGAGES BRAIN + BODY
Unlike other diets or diet aids that focus solely on your stomach, MealEnders cue the cessation of eating by targeting the mind’s attention and the body’s reaction to sensations. By engaging your trigeminal nerve, MealEnders keep your mind occupied for up to 20 minutes (the Overeating Zone), giving your natural satiety process time to kick in and catch up. When the MealEnder experience dissipates, your body’s natural signaling process of satiation will have begun.
FITS INTO EVERYDAY LIFE
MealEnders fit easily into your existing routine, helping you learn healthy portion control. And they aren’t a drug, stimulant or supplement. MealEnders are a straightforward, common-sense way to assist you in reducing the amount of food you eat. MealEnders naturally transition you away from your desire to eat too much and help train the mind and body to eat healthy, right-sized portions. Read more about how to use MealEnders HERE.
I have been trying out MealEnders of the last several weeks and while I don’t use one after every meal, I have found that they have come in handy especially when I am bored during the day and find myself mindlessly grazing.
Flavors include: chocolate mint, cinnamon, citrus, mocha
If you would like to try MealEnders, leave a comment to win a FREE 4 pack!

A couple of weeks ago, Cordskinz reached out to me asking if I would be interested in trying and reviewing their product. As always, I immediately went to their website to see what they were all about. I don't know about you guys, but I like to listen to music when I workout - so this was a definite yes for me.
The product is simply two covers that slide over the cords of your earphones using a small applicator they send along with the covers.
The purpose of covering the earphone cords is to avoid any tangling that tends to happen while you’re exercising or while your earphones are stuffed in your pocket, gym bag, you name it.
I’m happy to report that I didn’t have any trouble with the application. My earphones were shorter than the covers, so I did have to trim a little excess off, which the package says to do.
Cordskinz sell for $9.99 in various colors. To learn more about Cordskinz, visit their Facebook page or their website.

It has been hard to miss all of the recent hype surrounding BIC Bands. So, as you can imagine, I was stoked to be able to do a review and giveaway for my readers on these non-slip headbands!
HOW DID BIC BANDS START?
WHAT DOES BIC BANDS STAND FOR?
The non-slip headband that gives back - - How amazing is that?! I just love what this company stands for and the action they are taking to give back.
I feel like every girl experiences this at one point or another.. but one of the worst things is a headband that slips off your head (especially during exercise). An equally awful feeling is when a headband is way too tight around your head and ends up giving you a headache. Finding a happy medium can be quite challenging. (I know, #firstworldproblems)
To cut to the chase - I have found my happy medium with BIC Bands. I wore each one a few times for different workouts including, running, walking, cross training, yoga, just bopping around the house, and running errands. I had no issues with either headband being too loose or too tight. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit.
The non-slip headbands come in a variety of sizes and colors, including minnie, skinny, thin, and thick - - sparkles, neon, print, sporty, solid, and holiday. Prices range from $7 sale headbands to $15 thick headbands, with several in between.
Here is a close-up of the two headbands I was sent to review. The winner of the giveaway will receive the same styles - Skinny Neon Frost Poppin Pink & Thin Safari.
To be entered to win these two BIC Bands, all you have to do is check out the BIC Bands website and leave a comment telling me your favorite BIC Band.
You can get more entries by Facebooking or tweeting about the contest and linking to this blog post. Make sure you leave separate comments for multiple entries.
You have until Thursday 2/27 to enter.
I will choose one random winner (using random.org) and announce it on Friday 2/28.
Disclaimer: BIC Bands provided me with samples to review at no cost. All opinions are my own.
Time for another review, and this time it includes a GIVEAWAY!
FlipBelt is a company based in beautiful Colorado. We are focused on making functional and sleek apparel & accessories. Our concept was built on our personal experience of being unable to find exactly what we needed when working out. The FlipBelt is the first item our company offers that defines the products that we want to offer consumers; Function that does not sacrifice style or comfort. As our debut product it has had a great reception from the fitness enthusiast and we look forward to providing our customers with more stylish solutions to enrich your active life.
The FlipBelt has 4 pockets to put your running essentials. When the items are tucked safe and sound inside, you flip it over, with the idea of keeping everything snug. There are two pockets in the front and two pockets in the back that you can insert your items into.
To try it out, I grabbed a few things that I thought would put it to the test, things that I have needed on a run in the past. I thought that with my phone, keys, and other items I wanted to carry that it would make it bulky and hard to run in. Wrong!
One interesting thing is that I never actually flipped my FlipBelt! I felt that it wasn't really necessary to do because the items fit so tightly in there anyway. I think I prefer not to flip it because it’s just easier to reach in and pull out my phone, if needed, without having to keep flipping it back over.
You can pick a size based on their size chart recommendations. I have a size medium and it rests perfectly on my hips. The belt fits right over the waste band of your shorts or pants (or above if you prefer it that way - just be sure to choose the size accordingly). The fabric is machine washable, 92% Polyester, and 8% Spandex. Bonus: They have 8 sweet colors that you can choose from!
I suggest you check it out for yourself - SO I actually have TWO ways to hook you up and give you a chance to do just that. I am happy to say that in addition to the folks over at FlipBelt providing me with a belt to use and review, they are giving a second FlipBelt to a reader for FREE!
PLUS, if you are more of an immediate gratification type and don’t want to wait and see if you can score the free one, I also have a discount code to share with you that will take 10% off the price of one. Enter the code 'SOP' at checkout for 10% off your FlipBelt. (Discount code expires in 30 days)
Entering is really simple but you must use the Rafflecopter widget below!

I have never used compression socks before, but I have been really curious about them for quite awhile. I have seen runners wearing them, I have read about bloggers wearing them, and I have done a little research about their effectiveness. So, I was pretty excited when I received my first pair of PRO Compression Marathon Socks and was able to review them.
Compression socks increase blood flow the legs, causing lactic acid and other bad by-products to be flushed out more quickly. This in turn can reduce muscle soreness and fatigue and leave your legs feeling more fresh.
This is EXACTLY what they did for me and by wearing them, my muscles have been able to recover faster. The socks have really helped decrease my soreness the day following a long run. They are comfortable and thin, plus they are tight enough that they stay up on their own.
When should you wear compression socks?
For recovery benefits, after a workout - but a lot of people wear them during workouts as well. Sometimes I wear them during my run, but I definitely wear them for 1-2 hours afterwards to reap the recovery benefits.
Use coupon code PCBLG and get 40% off plus free shipping in the US until August 20…when shipping charges will apply.
PRO Compression would like to give a FREE pair of Marathon Compression Socks to one of my readers!
To enter the giveaway:
#1: Leave a comment on this blog post telling me why you would like a pair of Marathon Compression Socks.
#2: Subscribe to the Staying On Pace blog via email (in the column to the right of this post).
The winner will be selected at random on August 14th.
