It is that time of year.. chili time! This is a Paleo version of chili with a twist. The twist is chocolate! I know, I was surprised too, but don't judge until you try. It is delicious!

Tis the season for holiday parties and festive get togethers! Cheers to Christmas lights, gingerbread houses and plenty of red and green.
With all the exciting festivities going on during this season, I wanted to put together a post featuring holiday party outfits to help you get dressed for your upcoming holiday parties.
I’m sharing several looks today that hopefully cover all styles and party attire across the board. And hopefully you even have one or two of these in your closet already!
The first two looks are the blouse and skirt option with a pop of sequins and nude heals to complete the outfit - perfect!
My personal favorite is the go-to little red dress that will most likely be appropriate for ALL your holiday festivities this season. I chose the red dress option (I have two) for two different parties this season. I added black tights and black shoes with both looks this year.
Another fabulous dress option is the LBD. It’s the safe and easy bet when it comes to holiday party attire – AND you’ll for sure be able to find another use for it throughout the year.
I am debating on wearing this option with the faux fur vest to a party or maybe for Christmas Eve. Jury is still out, but I have all of these pieces in my closet already, so that is a win!
For a more casual party option, pants are it. The beautiful thing about blazers is how you can dress them up or down very easily, so don't be afraid to put a blazer with pants this holiday party season. Add some sequin detail to jazz it up a tad, and you will be set!
I hope you found inspiration from at least one of these outfits so that you can feel great when walking into your holiday parties this year! Enjoy!
Another paleo-friendly crockpot meal comin' at ya folks! I love this protein-packed dinner option, and I hope you will too...
- 1 pork roast, approximately 2 lbs, but this is flexible
- 25 oz jars fermented sauerkraut (Bubbies brand)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- ground pepper to taste
- Place pork in crockpot, followed by onion and sauerkraut. Then top with sliced apples.
- Cover and set on low for 8 hours
I am a big Jodi Picoult fan, and this book is a reason why. I listened to this book on a recent road trip, and I enjoyed the love story very much. I would definitely recommend this book - it would make a great book club read too!

Parents and children alike have been best friends, so it's no surprise that in high school Chris and Emily's friendship blossoms into something more. They've been soul mates since they were born.
So when midnight calls from the hospital come in, no one is ready for the appalling truth: Emily is dead at seventeen from a gunshot wound to the head. There's a single unspent bullet in the gun that Chris took from his father's cabinet-- a bullet that Chris tells police he intended for himself. But a local detective has doubts about the suicide pact that Chris has described.
