We so enjoyed this easy week night meal in the crockpot. It is super healthy and paleo-friendly as well. This made enough for lunch leftovers too, which is always a plus!
- 1 pork loin
- sweet potato - cut into bite size chunks
- favorite veggie mix - we used broccoli/carrots/water chestnuts/carrots
- favorite seasoning - garlic, onion powder, pepper
Put all together in crockpot - with pork loin on the bottom - and cook on low for 8 hours
What a whirlwind the last few days have been.. we moved from our temporary condo into our newly built home! The move to Texas has been so adventurous for us, but we were happy to bunker down this weekend and start unpacking for a fresh start in our new home.
However, our workouts can't take a back seat, so we did some HIIT circuit workouts plus some running.
This is one of the HIIT workouts we did:
It definitely got my heart rate up and got me a good sweat before going back to my unpacking!
I have a couple striped dresses that have been staples for me this summer, and so I like to style them different ways each time I wear them. I thought I would share with you my most recent outfit using the same dress I posted about HERE.
I just love how versatile black and white stripes are. There are so many different ways to wear them!

What is your favorite way to rock stripes?
I have been reminded too much lately that summer is coming to a close. UGH I am such a summer gal, and I don't want it to end. Apparently, here in Texas, it will be warm well into fall and winter - and that makes me oh so happy!
Here are some fun summer ideas to cross off the list before fall hits:

What is on your summer to do list?
Well, I'm not sure if hats really ever left, but for me they did. Don't get me wrong though, I will always rock the baseball cap style to cover up dirty hair. My hat phases come and go, but recently it is back - and in full force. I think this time it is going to stay awhile - I can't wait to style outfits to go with these hats!
The first 2 hats below are ones that I recently picked up from Nordstrom (both were from the #NSale)! The next 3 are ones I got from Dottie Couture. The first one will be perfect for my upcoming vacation!
I have also included a couple more that I've had my eye on. Not that I need anymore, but ya know, it's always fun to look! All the neutrals please!
I am thinking of doing a post to share a few things I will be packing for my upcoming vacation to Hawaii, so you might see that come through in a few days or so. We are so excited!
Tell me your favorite way to rock a hat!
Last week we celebrated my birthday! Josh had so many wonderful things planned for me, such as a surprise spa day, a beautiful new Kate Spade bag, and a delicious seafood dinner at a local spot. What a wonderful day it was!
This is the dress I chose to wear for my birthday dinner. You guys know about my floral addiction, so this style should be no surprise to you. However, the choker tie at the neckline is definitely something new to me - I kinda dig it though!
This is another great fall transition dress. Florals ftw! Although, everyone seems so ready for fall to be here, and I'm trying to hang onto to summer for dear life!
What about you guys - favorite season?
After a fun Saturday night out with friends last weekend, we decided to go to Sunday brunch. It was kind of a gloomy day, and we planned to run some errands after eating. Throwing on this simple camo tee was a phenomenal decision, if I do say so myself :)
It is super comfy, semi-loose fitting, and the perfect compliment to a pair of jeans. It is actually on sale right now too!

If you know me at all, then you know I am a big fan of HIIT workouts. I really enjoy more CrossFit inspired workouts - and those don't always have to be heavy Olympic lifts.
I have put together a nice little 20 minutes HIIT workout for my readers below. Do not be fooled by the word 'beginner'. I am here to tell you that if you push yourself and keep moving at your best effort during the work times, then you are going to get your heart rate up and get one heck of a workout!
A great thing to note is that all of these movements can be done anywhere and with no equipment. No excuses - just get it done!
