Recently, I encountered a killer sore throat and was interested in finding a fast-cure home remedy to help me feel better. Like a modern woman, I started a focused Google search. Several articles came up pointing me to curing a sore throat with apple cider vinegar. I tried it and it really did help!
During my search, I came across a slew of information about the benefits of apple cider vinegar - not just for a sore throat...
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is made by juicing apples and fermenting them to become apple cider. Then it is fermented again with acid-forming bacteria to create vinegar.

Words of wisdom:
To reap the benefits, you should buy raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, preferably organic. The raw and unfiltered ACV contains the mother, a natural sediment with pectin, trace minerals, beneficial bacteria and enzymes (which makes it appear cloudy, not clear).
To be completely honest, the taste gets some getting used to, even when diluted. I prefer 1 tablespoon of ACV and 1/2-1 tablespoon of honey mixed together in 8-10 ounces of hot water.
